Megeve Valley is a small valley in the south of the Haute Savoie region of France just West of St Gervais. Home to the resorts of Megeve, Praz sur Arly, Combloux, Cordon and several small hamlets it is a place of untouched natural beauty and its villages retain the charm and rusticity of their heritage and tradition.
Megeve is a purpose built resort, designed to rival Switzerlands premier ski resort of St Moritz. It’s a well balanced combination of tradition and glamour with cobbled streets and horse drawn carriages as well as boutique stores and luxurious chalets and apartments.
Praz sur Arly is a delightful small village south of Megeve with a good sized ski area for the size of village. The pistes are mainly suitable for beginners and intermediates but the bigger regions of only a short bus or car journey away.
Combloux is situated north of Megeve and is described as le perle du Mont Blanc as it has amazing, clear views of Mont Blanc. It is also home to France’s first ecological swimming lake.
Cordon is a quoin mountain village just north west of Combloux. It has a small ski area suitable for beginners and intermediates and is part of the ski pass Mont Blanc area.
Known as the "pearl of Mont Blanc", Combloux village is a pretty Alpine village nestled in the hills with lots of sunshine, and incredible views of the Mont Blanc massif
