The St Gervais region is in the south of the French Alps encompassing Passy, St Gervais Les Bains, St Nicolas de Veroce, Plateau d'Assy and Les Contamines Montjoie. It shares a border with Aosta Valley in Italy and part of the Mont Blanc mountain range falls within this region. It’s an ideal area for holiday homes and second homes as transfers to the nearest airports are around an hour making short stays and long weekends an easy possibility.
Passy is a medium sized village in the north of the region. It has a full compliment of facilities and eammenities in the village although it doesn’t have its own ski area but is very close to the Mont Blanc ski domain.
St Gervais Les Bains is famous for its natural thermal spa, with its medicinal benefits it attracts those looking for relaxation and tranquility, a great place to recharge your batteries.
St Nicholas de Veroce has a small ski are which is pretty good for all skiing and snowboarding ability levels, the pistes are also linked with St Gervais & Megeve. It faces Mont Blanc and so offers some amazing panoramic views.
Plateau d'Assy is located in the foothills of Mont Blanc and is home to some amazing scenery of the Mont Blanc and Fiz mountain ranges. It also boasts some fantastic mountain biking trails and rewarding hiking paths up the mountains.
Les Contamines Montjoie is tucked away in the south of the region in its own secluded valley. It’s a hidden gem amongst ski resorts and provides a quiet getaway perfect for relaxing and admiring the wondrous scenery.
